The Roosevelt Park Shelter has served our community well over the past 37 years, however, due to its rapidly deteriorating structural columns, the shelter has been deemed not safe to use and will be demolished this winter. Our Department is currently working on plans for a brand-new shelter that will be built closer to parking and the restrooms. In the meantime, we will continue to rent out this space as a “Picnic Area” for the 2020 season. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we transition to our new and improved park shelter.
The Riverside Park Restrooms have served our community well over many years, however, due their age, lack of accessibility, cost to maintain, poor aesthetics and high vandalism rate, they will be demolished this winter. Our Department will continue to rent the Picnic Shelter and renters will have access to the Oerding Park Restrooms, which are in close proximity. Thank you for cooperation as we continue to improve our park system.
