[ARCHIVED] Lots of fun for your toddler at the Rec Department

Toddler Classes

The following classes are starting soon and are a great activity for toddlers with their parents or an adult.

Tiny Tot Tumbling (Ages 2-3 with adult)
4:15-4:45 p.m. Tuesday OR Thursday Jan. 13-April 2
Through group games, the use of balance beam and floor exercises, parents participate with their child in activities. Focus is on balance, coordination and socialization skills.

Pee Wee Tumbling (ages 4-5)
5-5:45 p.m. Tuesday OR Thursday Jan. 13-April 2
Fitness and fun create an environment to learn motor skills, tumbling, group games and build self esteem. At each class children will work on a new skill and will showcase their skills with a show at the end of the session.

Pee Wee Dance (Ages 3-5)
4-4:30 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 15-Apr. 23
Introduction to dance movements with music. This class will make your little girl feel like a princess.

Sing and Play with Me (Ages 1-4 with adult)
615-6:55 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 20-Feb. 24
Join Miss Mary in Sing and Play with Me! for ages 1-4 with an adult. Participants will explore various instruments, sing along with the guitar, wave scarves, toss the parachute and more each week.

Preschool Art (Ages 3 1/2-5 1/2)
3:30-4:15 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 20-Feb. 10
Children will have fun with Young Rembrandts creating works of art each class. In Young Rembrandts classes everyone is an artist and children learn new skills and gain confidence.

Early Childhood Recreation and Learning (Ages 3-4)
9 a.m.-12 p.m. Jan. 5-April 15 - Only one spot left!
Early Childhood Learning and Recreation is designed for children to play and have a fun, fulfilling learning experience. New skills will be introduced and reinforced to help prepare your child for elementary school. Prewriting skills, social and personal skills, math, science and art will be the focus. Child must be potty trained.
