Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers released Wisconsin Emergency Order #1 that will go into effect on August 1, 2020. The City of Oconomowoc Police Department will be asking citizens to voluntarily comply with the order. We encourage everyone to take precautions to keep themselves and others safe. Citizens are encouraged to make their own medical choices based upon what you believe is best for you and your family. We ask all citizens to be sensitive to one another and wear a mask per the order.
Every individual, age five and older, in Wisconsin shall wear a face covering if both of the following apply:
a. The individual is indoors or in an enclosed space, other than at a private residence; and;
b. Another person or persons who are not members of individual’s household or living unit are present in the same room or enclosed space.

The City of Oconomowoc Police Department will currently NOT be responding to citizen calls for mask violations at this time unless other circumstances require a law enforcement response.
