Located at 900 South Worthington Street, the facility treats all wastewater generated by residential, commercial, and industrial property in Oconomowoc as well as serving
seven sanitary districts
around Okauchee Lake, Silver Lake, Lac La Belle, and a portion of Oconomowoc Lake. The treatment process is a continuous, ongoing sequence of steps which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Wastewater Utility utilizes a supervisory, control, and data acquisition system (SCADA) to monitor the collection system and treatment plant operations. This system operates 24/7 and provides automatic control of critical functions, collects operational data, and monitors various alarm functions at the collection system pumping stations and at the plant. Here are some interesting
facts and figures
about our facility.
