Driver’s License & Vehicle Registration Information
Upon establishing residency in Wisconsin from out of state, you must obtain a Wisconsin driver’s license and register all owned motor vehicles with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation, within 10 days.

    Oconomowoc PD Now Provides                                   DMV Services


Starting August 21, 2017, the Oconomowoc Police Department will be able to provide title, registration and/or registration renewal services for walk in customers for used in-state vehicles only. Car and small truck plates and stickers are given to the customer upon completion of the transaction. Titles are printed and mailed from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Madison. These services will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is a service fee for these transactions.

Please note, no DMV services will be available on weekends or holidays. Customers must provide proper identification and proof of ownership/sale or renewal paperwork. If there are any inconsistencies, missing documentation or on-line errors, customers will be referred to the nearest full service DMV center.
